It all began in February 2017, during Bullis's production of She Kills Monsters. The spark? Jonas misspelling Ashleigh's name on the whiteboard during rehearsal - intentional or not, it worked. The two flirted through every rehearsal that followed, shared a night of stargazing that came this close to a first kiss, and then finally shared their first kiss right before a football game a week later.

From there, things moved fast in the best way. Jonas took Ashleigh on their first real date (dinner of course), a walk by the water, and a question that made them official; all just one week before opening night of the show!

What followed was years of building a life together: side by side at the University of Maryland (Go Terps!) then navigating two and a half years of long distance without losing a step. In 2024, Ashleigh made the move to sunny Southern California, and the two now call West Hollywood home where they could not be happier enjoying the lives they have built for themselves over the past nine years!
